Sunday Miscellany
It's no secret that this family is filled with die-hard Jimmy Buffett fans. Aaron and I have gone to his concert every year since 1995 (with the one exception of 2005 when I just had just given birth). The concerts are like a religion, and you really can't understand it unless you've witnessed one firsthand. We love his music, and luckily our kids have followed suit. Well, something we've talked about making, Aaron finally did, and it turned out awesome. Check it out:
Pretty awesome, doncha think? It's a real working clock, and turned out perfect!
And speaking of awesome creations turning out perfect, here is another brainchild of Aaron's put into reality by his dad:
This is in the corner of the office. There are a couple of Cardinals' items on it but aside from that, it's pretty nice. Better than anything you could buy at a store!
And now speaking of the Cardinals, on a very somber note, this is very sad. I feel sad for the Cardinals' loss of reliever Josh Hancock. Oddly, this is the second pitcher they have lost during a Cubs-Cardinal series. We were all set to watch the game tonight with some friends since the Cubs-Cardinals matchups are always such fun. Rightly so, the game is being postponed. Baseball lost a good pitcher, and that's sad news for any baseball fan.
Now to end on a much happier note, tomorrow is my bro's birthday. He will be 22. I can still remember the day he was born. I was so happy to have a sibling; after all, I was 12 and had been an only child all that time. Happy Birthday, my brotha...I'll see you in less than 4 weeks.
Last note, if you have the credentials, hop over to the Picture Album for a few new pictures. Hope your weekend has been great!

How can you say "a couple of Cardinals' items" the the list includes:
1) 1982 World Champion commemorative Coke bottle
2) 2006 World Champion commemorative Bud beer bottle
3) Ozzie Smith auotgraphed baseball
4) Ozzie Smith Hall of Fame induction statue
Just your run of the mill items, huh?
