Yeah, here we go.  The countdown to the BIG GAME.  Bigger than many Superbowls of past for many of us, I might add.  Yes, we Chicago Bears' fans remember the last time we had this fun.  Oh, do we.  We made a huge song and dance about it, as well as many Taco Bell commercials (ugh).  If you want to see video, you'll have to go and look it up on You Tube or something yourselves, sorry.  If I had the time to do so, I could go back and scan in pictures of our many Superbowl gatherings over the years.  The main reason is because both Aaron and his dad's birthdays land right around the Superbowl.  And also, it's just fun to watch.  Even if they aren't teams I like, I'll always watch the Big Game.  I'll admit, I also enjoy most of the commercials.  They seemed to have peaked out in comedy (kinda like SNL)...but also like SNL (the Justin Timberlake episode was so funny, I can't bring myself to delete it from the DVR), they are hopefully making a tiny bit of a comeback.  Commercials funny or not, this year, I'm watching it for THE GAME!

I'm so glad so many left comments on the last post.  Quite a few funny comments, I might add.  Thanks guys, and please, keep 'em comin'.  I won't interject any political statements in this particular post, but I will down the road.  And yes, I do realize that all of us Cubs fans do suffer from something...however, I disagree that it's necessarily a bad thing.  How else can you learn such optimism, such preservence, such determination?  Don't mistake fan loyalty for being an idiot.  Some of us were born into it, and to change would just be so wrong.  Besides, things WILL be different this year, right?  ;-)

Ok, this is not a Cubs post, but a Bears post.  This is Bears time!  I have also always been a Bears fan, so there!  Now I can enjoy this and savor every last minute.  And then savor it some more when they are the Superbowl Champions once again!  The kids are enjoying it so much and it's just so much fun to have this time with them as well.
